Trevor

At the northern end of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

The small village of Trevor is where you will find the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Visitor Centre, as it sits on the Northern end of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

Situated just off the A539 between Llangollen and Wrexham, Trevor has a small community of houses, a pub, tearoom and shop. It was borne out of the industrial revolution, the coming of the canal, and the construction of Trevor Basin. Notably, Offa’s Dyke National Path passes through the village.
