‘Seren Fach’, or ‘Little Star’, the trip boat at Trevor Basin offers visitors the chance to cruise across The Stream in the Sky.

The 45 minute round trip across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, towering 126feet high allows spectacular views across the Dee Valley, making it an exciting and unforgettable experience.

Now the season has come to an end, our trip boat will be running on Saturdays only through November & December. The first trip will depart at 11am, and the last at 2.30pm. ‘Seren Fach’, or ‘Little Star’, the trip boat at Trevor Basin, offers visitors the chance to cruise across the awe-inspiring Pontcysyllte Aqueduct high above the River Dee. This ‘bucket list’ experience offers an exciting and unforgettable cruise of a lifetime along the Llangollen Canal, while enjoying stunning views across the Dee Valley.

Anglo Welsh’s knowledgeable team provides commentary on board about the aqueduct and the Llangollen Canal during the 45-minute trip. It’s a great way to learn more about the fascinating history of the site while taking in the magnificent views.

Trips depart daily at 11am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm from Canal Wharf, Trevor, Llangollen LL20 7TT.

Adult tickets are £10, children under 16 are £6, family tickets are £25 (2 adults, 2 children). Tickets can be booked in advance online at https://www.anglowelsh.co.uk/little-star/ or on the day on the boat, subject to availability.

Llangollen Wharf Horse-Drawn Boats

Llangollen Wharf is one of the longest established visitor attractions in the North Wales market town of Llangollen. From the Wharf you can embark on either a horse-drawn boat trip along the feeder for the main canal, or a motorised aqueduct boat trip which takes you across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Both these boat trips take in the magical sights and sounds of the beautiful Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site.
